Kanaan: "We really need a win"
The Andretti Green Racing drivers share their comments about the upcoming 10th race of the season, which will be held this week-end during the Watkin Glens Grand Prix in New York state.

This will be Tony Kanaan's third start at The Glen. He finished second in 2005 at the historic track and started second in 2006 before contact with another car sent him to an 11th-place finish.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back in the car this weekend. It was nice to get a top five finish under our belt at Richmond and get back on track," he said.

"Watkins Glen is a track where we've had mixed results. I started second last year and have led laps in both IndyCar Series races at The Glen but we've not gotten a win there. We really need a win to get back where we'd like to be in the championship. There are still a lot of races left so we need to keep the pressure on Dario (Franchitti) and the Ganassi cars," Kanaan added.

In his two career starts at Watkins Glen International, Dario Franchitti has two top-ten finishes. "I love going to The Glen. With the fast little corners, it really challenges the driver and I really enjoy driving there," he said.

"I think we need to come this year with a good car. I don't have The Glen nailed yet, but I think there are a few little things we can work on with the team that will make all the difference," Franchitti expected.

Danica Patrick enters the Watkins Glen event ranked eighth in the IndyCar Series championship standings. She is coming off a sixth-place finish at last weekend's IndyCar Series race at Richmond.

"I like going to Watkins Glen. It's a very unique road course with some very distinct sections and a lot of elevation change, so it's a challenge to drive, which I like," she shared. "It's our first true road course event of the year, so I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do with the car."

Marco Andretti started third and finished 16th at The Glen in 2006, his first IndyCar Series race at the track. He posted the quickest lap of the 2006 event just seconds before he was taken out of the race while trying to overtake a lapped car.

"I'm looking forward to going back to The Glen. I really owe a lot of last year's performance of the car to my engineer, Eddie Jones. He took my strengths and found what I needed and the car was awesome all weekend," he related.

"I've got a lot of confidence and quite a few laps there so I'll be smiling all weekend," Andretti concluded.
