Ed 'Daddy' Carpenter

Vision Racing driver Ed Carpenter and wife Heather are the proud parents of their first born, Makenna Alayne Carpenter, who arrived at 12:25 a.m. on October 9th. Vision Racing's newest number one fan weighed in 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.

Both mother and daughter are doing well and are anticipating heading home to join the rest of the family: dogs Rosco the Chihuahua and Bentley the Rottweiler.

Carpenter completed his fourth full IndyCar Series season in September, his third with Vision Racing. He has 65 total IndyCar starts, including one top five finish and 14 top ten finishes.
