- Won the Spenard/David school championship for Formula Ford 2000. Earned three victories and five pole positions in six races.

- Finished seventh in the Spenard/David school championship for Formula Ford 2000. Earned two victories and two pole positions.
1987
- Earned a three-day Spenard/David Racing School Course by working as a mechanic, and won the School Formula Ford 2000 runoffs.
