- Finished 18th in IndyCar Series standings, driving for A.J. Foyt Racing, owned by his grandfather, four-time Indianapolis 500 winner A.J. Foyt.

- Finished 21st in IndyCar Series standings.

- Captured inaugural IRL Menards Infiniti Pro Series championship.

- Won the four-cycle stock light kart class event at the Holiday Classic in Phoenix and the stock medium class event at the O’Reilly Tulsa Shootout.
- Claimed championships in Junior II Briggs restricted and unrestricted classes in World Karting Association competition. Earned a total of nine pole positions and six wins.

1999
- Won Texas and Louisiana state championship events in four-cycle Junior II light, heavy and unrestricted class karting competition.
- Claimed the four-cycle Junior II light and heavy class titles at the International Kart Federation Nationals.
