- Won the Japanese Formula Dream Series title with six victories and eight pole positions in 12 events.
- Won the Formula Dream Super Challenge Race at Suzuka.

1999
- Competed in the Japanese Formula Dream Series, finishing sixth in the championship.
- Posted best finish of second at Suzuka and earned three top-five finishes in six events.

1998
- Awarded scholarship to attend Suzuka Racing School Formula (SRS-F), a premier driver-training program in Japan.
- Contested the All Japan Kart Championship – FSA Class (Round 1).
- Finished third in the Suzuka World Cup.
